Today -- on Wednesday, September 23 -- the largest 40 Days for Life campaign in history kicks off in a staggering 212 cities across 45 U.S. states, 5 Canadian provinces, and Denmark!A prayer vigil has been set up on Inwood Drive across from the local abortion clinic here in Fort Wayne. This is to be a place of prayer from 8:00AM to 8:00PM for the next 40 days.
40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:
* 40 days of prayer and fasting
* 40 days of peaceful vigil
* 40 days of community outreach
We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.
